Sensory Stimulation

Sensory stimulation activities can be described as those which help keep the person focussed and to remain ‘conscious’ rather than in a seizure. They are normally given by the carer.  Examples include:

  • Singing to them
  • Rubbing head and chest
  • Pinching toes hard
  • Clapping hands
